If you’re passing through Great Britain, or stayed on after the Olympic Games, you might want to accept an invite from Aston Martin Works. It’s open to owners and enthusiasts of the brand and is an opportunity to its motorsport activities in a unique location.

An Evening with Aston Martin Racing will includes a glimpse of the action that takes place in the pitlane at the historical home of Aston Martin in Newport Pagnell, England.

It takes place from 6pm on Thursday 16 August and will be staged at Aston Martin Works’ new showroom in Tickford Street, Newport Pagnell.

The event is part of the celebrations to open Aston Martin Work’s new dealership, which houses a ten-car showroom as well as service workshops.

Endurance race driver Darren Turner, together with the Aston Martin Racing GTE pit crew, will demonstrate the perfect pitstop on the Vantage GTE car. Darren, who competed at this year’s Nürburgring and Le Mans 24 Hour events, will join the event from a test session with the Vantage GTE.

The Pitstop Challenge will be followed by a Q&A session with the AMR team. Guests will then be treated to a champagne reception, followed by a barbeque.

Also supporting the event will be clothing company Hackett, watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre and Bang & Olufsen.

In addition the V12 Zagato Nürburgring racecar and AMR Vantage GTE, several Vantage GT4 racecars will be on static display.

Tickets are priced at just £25 and are available from amy.knight@astonmartin.com

All profits will go to the Aston Martin Owners’ Club and the Aston Martin Heritage Trust.
