Finally, one of the most anticipated cars of the year has made its official debut at the Paris Auto Show: The Jaguar F-Type is here.

With its refined design, it will offer three engines to give drivers the very best experience.

The F-Type will be positioned under the current XK line-up and is sure to be a hit since we’re told it will be priced under 911 prices.

The exterior is a thrilling continuation of Jaguar’s evolving design language. Defined by two “heartlines” when looking at the car from above, these lines prvide the soul of the car, outlining its structure and fluidity.

The first line holds a crease above the fender, which also act as sight lines for the driver when navigating a winding road. The second line emerges from the muscular rear haunch before dramatically disintegrating into the rear of the car.

Sweeping lines are integrated into the side of the body, emerging as light-catchers along the door sills, and subtly appearing from the side vents then vanishing into the rear fenders.

Tipping their hat to the legendary E- Type, the F- Type grille leans forward slightly to suggest motion while stationary.

“This is the car that, as a team, we have always wanted to do. The whole process is very intimate, very detailed and comes from the first sketches.”
Ian Callum, Director of Design, Jaguar
