With only 30 models coming to the US, it should take Jaguar long to sell-out the Jaguar XJL Ultimate. But to draw attention to the new model, the carmaker has teamed up with online shopping service gilt.com.
The site is selling a 2013 Jaguar XJL Ultimate in Polaris White with Jet Black interior on September 21 at 12pm ET. However, the buyer will get more than just the car. Included in the sale is an exclusive vacation package featuring a trip to London, and a stay in the world’s only Jaguar suite. Designed by Jaguar’s Design Director, Ian Callum, the suite at 51 Buckingham Gate is part of the Taj hotel group and is available to the buyer and a guest.
The XJL Ultimate features two iPads and keyboards for rear-seat passengers plus a business table that elevates at the touch of a button, a rear chiller box and bespoke beverage flutes in a dedicated storage area beneath the powered table, as well as a 15-channel, 20-speaker Meridian sound system.
The exclusive model will be sold at the full price of $155,875 plus taxes, along with the unique vacation package. This will be the most expensive offering in gilt.com history.
The vacation includes roundtrip airfare for two to London; a four-day, three-night stay in the Jaguar suite, including a private butler; gourmet private dinner for two cooked in suite by a world-renowned Michelin-starred chef; a private meet-and-greet with Jaguar’s Design Team; a bottle of chilled Lanson Champagne; and a $2500 Gilt shopping credit.
To take advantage of the sale, log on to www.gilt.com/jaguarxjlpr at 12pm ET on September 21, 2012.
