Audi will be showing a limited edition version of its new SQ5 TDI model at the Paris Auto Show later this month.

Limited to just 50 examples, it will feature a 310hp 3.0L bi-turbo TDI diesel engine that accelerates 0-62mph in 5.1sec and boasts 32mpg (US) combined The SQ5 is both Audi’s first S model with a diesel engine and its first off-road S model.

The limited edition differs from the regular SQ5 by having a new interior and exclusive Aral Blue crystal effect paint job.

Inside, it incorporates a leather multifunction sports steering wheel and the gear shift boot in black Fine Nappa leather, accentuated by contrast stitching in snow white. This is also used on the center armrest and instrument binnacle.

The black sport seats feature the same material but also sport black, woven leather in the center sections – the first time this technique has been used in a production vehicle.

The Alcantara headliner, sunroof blind, inlays and applications on the doors are finished in snow white. The inlays are natural grain ash using an open-pored veneer to emphasise the grain.
