Celebrating the Cayman's third iteration of design, the car made a splash during the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show this past week. The Cayman was completely re-engineered resulting in a stronger, lighter, lower, wider and faster model than previous generations. The two-seat sport coupe will be offered in two versions, the Cayman and Cayman S starting in Spring 2013. With pricing begging at $52,600.

Powered by a 2.7L engine with 275hp, the Sport Chrono package propels the car form 0-60 in 5.1 sec. The Cayman S is equipped with a 3.4L engine that produces 325hp and equipped with PDK and the Sport Chrono package it will rocket from 0-60 in 4.4 sec. The Cayman S will start pricing at $63,800 (not including the destination charge of $950).
