Peugeot has assembled a dream team for this year's Pikes Peak Hill Climb in Colorado on June 30. Using a specially built Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak in the 'Unlimited' class, it will be driven by the most successful race driver of all time - Sebastien Loeb. Sponsored by Red Bull, Total, and Michelin the Peugeot will compete on the newly asphalted course, which includes 156 turns over 12.4 miles with altitude ranging from 9186 to 14107ft.

The entry will revive Peugeot's history at Pikes Peak, including a previous victory by Ari Vatanen in 1988 in the 405 T16 Pikes Peak. You can see a video of that record-setting time here: Link text....

However, Loeb should be able to set his own record now that the dirt has been replaced by smooth tarmac, allowing softer tires and firmer suspension.
