BMW has acquired multiple awards at this year's Red Dot awards. To be presented in Essen, Germany in July, BMW Group will take home four awards in the 2013 "Automotive and Transportation" product design competition.

The vehicles that won were as follows:

The BMW M6 Gran Coupe: recognized for its sporty and stylish looks. Signature elements such as the kidney-shaped grille and aerodynamics plus even weight distribution play into the capable performance of this M coupe.
The BMW 1 Series: presenting typical BMW proportions while offering a distinctive hatchback design with stretched lines, it has an unobstructed view through the 'free-standing' side windows, which adds an elegant feature to the sporty model.
The BMW Series Touring: offering a more versatile approach to changing needs of customers, this lifestyle model, not only offers greater comfort for longer trips, but also style that looks fast when standing still.
The BMW R 1200 GS: combining iconic styling with the comfort of a touring bike, the R 1200 GS not only looks beautiful but is adept off-road and on.
