The Lotus Evora has a starring role in the movie adaptation of 'The Host' by Stephanie Myer who is also the author of 'The Twilight Saga.' The movie premiered in Los Angeles on March 19 and was internationally released on the 22.

Lotus started talks about using the Evora October 2011, and soon after Lotus agreed to provide a fleet of Evora's for the film. Contributing to the alien element of the Sci-Fi movie, the Evora's are wrapped in a chrome vinyl fitted with special-effect lighting.

Lotus has had a number of starring roles in Hollywood movies including two Bond films, Pretty Woman and more. The Evora's are driven in 'The Host' by the 'baddies' in a mission to find 'The Seekers.' 'The Seekers' mission is to rid the earth of human negativity by removing all human emotion for a race devoid of character and emotion.
