Audi's quattro GmbH division has been producing race car versions of the brand's R8 since 2009 and recently reached its first significant milestone with the delivery of its 100th Audi R8 LMS customer race car.

Team MS Racing, which is making the switch to the R8 LMS ultra (the third evolution of the GT3 model), was the recipient of the 100th car, and was the beneficiary of a special delivery ceremony. MS Racing will be fielding two R8 teams in the upcoming 2013 ADAC GT Masters season.

The car is available around the world and competes in GT and GT3 sanctioned racing. In the U.S., the Grand-Am version of the car recently won the GT class at the Daytona 24 Hours in January.
