Star Car and Global Rallycross

Toni Avery
Apr 15, 2013

Global Rallycross is introducing a new twist for the competition, the Star Car. The car will debut at the X Games in Foz do Iguacu, Brazil and be driven by Scott Speed. Star Car will feature a different well-known driver at each race of the 2013 Global Rallycross season competing against the already seasoned Rallycross drivers.

OMSE2, which is a satellite operation of defending champions OlsbergsMSE, will run the Star Car. Making its global debut at the Global X Games in Foz do Iguacu, the car will be a Ford Fiesta ST GRC. Speed was chosen for his personality and driving ability, which makes a great fit for the Brazil race.
