LIMITED-EDITION MCLAREN 50 12C MARKS ANNIVERSARY

It seems like everybody is celebrating anniversaries this year, what with Aston Martin and the Porsche 911 all hitting landmarks. We can also add McLaren, which hits the half-century mark this year.

To celebrate, they're giving you the opportunity to purchase one of 50 12C and 12C Spider models - that's 100 cars in total.

To set them apart from regular models, the front bumper has a colour-matched lower section, with carbon fiber framing the air intakes. The front floor is then carbon/Kevlar construction, while above the bumper, a McLaren F1-inspired badge is finished in black.

Carbon-ceramic brakes are fitted as standard, sitting behind Satin Black wheels that are 19" front and 20" rear, saving 2kg over the optional Super Lightweight wheels.

Inside, the McLaren 50 12C models are upholstered in full leather, with an anniversary plate on the driver's door.

Available in three colors - Carbon Black, Supernova Silver or heritage McLaren Orange, each of the McLaren 50 models will be presented with a monogrammed car cover, limited edition key, carbon fiber presentation key box and a specially commissioned print signed by McLaren Automotive Design Director, Frank Stephenson.
