Celebrating 50 years of the 911 with the new 911RSR

Porsche's 50th anniversary celebration is in full swing, and anyone who knows even a little about the famed German brand knows that motorsports is woven into its DNA, with more than 30,000 race victories in Porsche vehicles to date. Its latest on-track hero is the all-new, 991-series 911 RSR, and as part of the 50th party, Porsche has produced this dynamic video featuring the latest RSR that should quicken pulses and raise goosebumps.

As an intense soundtrack builds excitement, footage of Porsche race cars past gets progressively newer until the new RSR bursts onto the circuit. Through it all, one thing stays the same -- the heart-pounding feeling and the unmistakable grin you will wear while watching it.

If this isn't enough to make you want to go out and buy or race a Porsche, I don't know what is. We should all be so lucky one day. Bravo, Porsche, and congrats on your 50th.
