For the 13th year in a row, Mini will donate a car to the Vienna Life Ball, with proceeds going to HIV and AIDS causes.
This year, the new Paceman model will the subject of the auction, and will be created by fashion designer Roberto Cavalli. He joins the likes of fashion labels such as DSQUARED², Diesel and Missoni, who have previously created Minis for the Life Ball.
To date the Mini auctions have raised in excess of 500,000 euros.
Cavalli has used iridescent paintwork that shimmers from black to brown, depending on the light, while his logo adorns the roof. There is also some interior embellishment.
Cavalli staged the fashion show at the Life Ball back in 2001, which was the same year Mini began its partnership with the charity event.
The Paceman will be auctioned in the Hall of Ceremonies at Vienna's Hofburg palace as part of the AIDS Solidarity Gala.
