The Ghedi (Brescia) military airport was the setting for an extraordinary acceleration run between a A200-A Tornado aircraft and the Lamborghini Reventn.

The fighter pilot and the Lamborghini test driver challenged each other on the 3km runway. The Reventn took the lead in the first leg of the race, but the Tornado caught up in the last few meters, taking off and flying over the Reventn, that traveling at a speed of over 211mph at that point.

The Ghedi military base was chosen as the ideal environment to emphasize the Reventn's aeronautical styling. The Reventn's was designed by the Centro Stile Lamborghini and perfected down to the finest detail in close collaboration with Lamborghini's R&D management. It drew inspiration from the world's fastest modern aircraft, which influenced its sharp edges, exact lines and clean surfaces, along with its exclusive matte grey/green exterior paint.
