"Vincer! Vincer! - I will win",is the exclamation from Nessun Dorma, the famous aria from Puccinis opera Turandot. And Vincer is also the name of the latest accessory line by tuning specialist Mansory.
The Bugatti Veyron serial edition sets standards in terms of price, maximum speed and engine power, leaving competitors far behind as a contender for the super-sportscar crown. Yet Mansory felt there was still room for improvement. Visually, the changes clearly show. The front gets a face-lift including modified fenders, a shorter hood and front apron. The LED daytime running lights integrated in the front have been stylized as a "V" in tribute to the "Vincer" name.
The newly developed side skirts are the visual and aerodynamic connection between the axles. Larger air outlets at the sides and rear are said to improve engine cooling and, in combination with the new diffuser, underline the powerful design.
Mansory manufactures nearly all parts from ultra-light and high-strength carbon. The applied hardening technique, using high pressure and temperatures in the autoclave improve the material's quality.
In order to perfect the visual appearance, Mansory devised striking forged turbine-design wheels for the Linea Vincer in original dimensions.
The engine - the most powerful fitted in a production car - has been refined by Mansory. Technical innovation includes increased air supply and an optimized exhaust system to produce an unbelievable 1109hp and 966 lb-ft. The interior has LED lights in an ambient illumination system, which are fitted in the seats, doors and dashboard. The passenger compartment now glows in a soft light which highlights the carbon applications and the special grained leather. There's also a new airbag steering wheel equipped with rocker switches.
The Mansory individualisation programme for the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 is offered in a limited edition via Mansory's Middle East partner Prestige Cars Abu Dhabi.
