On the 30th birthday of the Mercedes-Benz G model, Hamann-Motorsport has honored the all-terrain vehicle with an extensive refining program.

During the designing phase, Hamann added two LED daytime running lights in the front spoiler, rendering a sporty look and increase the passive safety at the same time. The downforce is also increased by the roof spoiler. Powerful fender extensions broaden the G-model by 40mm at the front and 60mm at the rear.

The new rear apron with an integrated diffuser completes the appearance of the body. If desired, air inlets for the hood and a 13-piece exterior set made of carbon fibre (radiator grille, headlight protective grid, mirror housings, door handles, air inlets in the fenders, hood spoiler) set further visual highlights

Additionally, the Hamann engine department developed two powerful performance enhancements for the 5.4-liter motor. The customer can select software with a 35hp increase. While the HM 600 kit offers 600hp (507hp stock). The extensive modifications include software, a pulley kit, metal catalysts, six-pipe exhaust mufflers, gear oil cooling system and an optimized gear control. The modifications lead to acceleration from 0-62mph in only 5.1 seconds.

One of the technical highlights are the three-piece Hamann wheels called Design Edition Race Anodized 24. The light, forged wheel has titanium bolts and are offered in 24x10,5 with tires measuring 315/35 R24. The interior equipment includes aluminium pedals and footrest as well as 24-piece carbon fiber interior set. Door sill ledges made of brushed stainless steel with blue lights are adorned with the Hamann logo as well as the embroidered Hamann floor mat set.

LOOKING BACK AT THE SUPER STREET COROLLA The new 2021 Toyota Corolla is an entry-level car that we’ve had a ton of experience with as we built a 2019 hatchback two years ago. With the help of our friends at Auto Tuned and a rendering by Jon Sibal, we transformed our little XSE into a

Putting down the first few sentences of a feature like this 1987 Honda CRX Si is a little tougher than usual. It’s not the familiar story of picking up an old, used Honda, adding wheels and a drop before giving in and going all out on a full-blown build. Furthermore, to be clear, it’s also

Rodrez: It’s the measuring stick that offers as much speculation and attempts to discredit driver achievement as it does real-world data and raw, obsessively focused attempts to chip away at the clock. The Nurburgring serves as a standard by which most automakers set their sights. It arms internet debate specialists with numbers and comparisons by
