GM Astra In Giant Snowglobe - Web Exclusive

The UK division of General Motors, Vauxhall Motors, has built a giant 15ft diameter snowglobe for its newest Astra model to appear at the Vauxhall Ice Skate event in London.

The snow shaker will be filled with 50 bags of artificial snow for the iceskating disco, which happens this week.

After the summer’s Vauxhall Skate event in 2009, the company has teamed up with some of the UK’s best music, design and style talents to do it all again on ice. Celebrities to DJ at the event include Sting’s daughter Coco Sumner as well as local TV and music celebrities.
