Competition Package Introduced for the BMW M3 - Web Exclusive

Feb 16, 2010

Going on sale on March 20, 2010 is the much anticipated competition package for the BMW M3 Coupe.

The new package comprises of a revised Electronic Damper Control with a new Sport setting which improves the standard car’s dynamic handling. This system allows less electronic intervention than before making for a more aggressive driving style. Exclusively designed 19" lightweight wheels, inspired by the popular E46 M3 CSL, complete the competition package. It’s priced at £3,315 ($5196 USD) in addition to the standard BMW M3’s price.

At the same time of this introduction, Auto Start-Stop technology comes as standard to all versions of the M3. The benefits of Auto Start-Stop for all BMW M3 models results in significant reductions in CO2 emissions and an improvement in fuel consumption.

Figures quoted are for M DCT-equipped cars.
