Following the massive success of the last "Party on the Red Planet" in 2007, Ducati presents the sixth installment of World Ducati Week - "The Red Planet Returns".

Ever since its inception in 1998, WDW has been an adrenaline-powered mix of speed, performance and passion, magnified by the community spirit of Ducati owners and fans who live for the Bologna-based hand-built motorcycles.

WDW is the 'Red Planet', the homeland for Ducatisti and a place to share the red-hot excitement fuelled by incredible Ducati events.

This year's event promises to be equally as colossal as 2007, with factory riders, shows, test rides, stunts and music, plus the opportunity of factory and museum visits, plenty of partying and, above all, thousands of Ducati motorcycles.

No, it won't be called the GTO. This car is called the 488 Pista, like the Italian word for "race track." It also looks absolutely incredible.
