NEW 400HP ALPINA B3S

As US customers start taking delivering of the new Alpina B7 based on the BMW 7-Series, European enthusiasts also have the opportunity to purchase the new Alpina B3 S Bi-Turbo based on the BMW 335i.

The 3-liter straight-six engine in the B3 S yields 400hp at 6000rpm and 399 lb-ft of torque at 4500rpm. In Coupe form this delivers 0-62mph in 4.7 seconds and 186mph, while economy is rated at 24mpg US combined.

The B3S is identified by a redesigned front spoiler and rear diffuser enclosing the tailpipes, reducing lift and assisting engine cooling. The Alpina Classic wheels get a new design treatment as well, as seen on the latest B7.

With a switchable six-speed automatic transmission, the B3 S stays faithful to an Alpina edict that the sporting nature of its cars should not compromise luxury, comfort or everyday usability.
