The Zonda R is a hand-built carbon/titanium and carbon-fiber machine with 750hp and is powered by a 6.0-liter AMG-sourced V12 engine.

The record was aided by the P Zero Slick tires, courtesy of Pirelli's Motorsport Racing production. The tires ensured excellent grip the car the ability to transfer the power to the ground.

Designed exclusively by Pirelli for the Modena-built Pagani supercar, the P Zero Slick tires were manufactured in Milan on the new-generation Modular Integrated Robotized System.
