Making full use of the benefits of its official sponsorship of Manchester United soccer club, Kumho Tires recently hosted a unique 'Dream Day' for children and their parents or carers at the team's Old Trafford stadium and the club's Carrington training ground.

Adding the gloss to an already very special event were no less than five of the club's first-team players.

Aged between six and 17, the 40 lucky children won their places in prize draws in several soccer magazine, on Manchester radio and in competitions running on the Kumho and Manchester United websites.

Some special places were also provided for the families of children at Francis House Children's Hospice in Manchester.

The Dream Day started with a tour of the legendary Old Trafford ground. The group then transfered via official Manchester United team bus to Carrington, the club's training ground and home to its Academy. The kids then had a skills session with the players, who included Patrice Evra, Tomasz Kuszczak, Jonny Evans, John O'Shea and Rafael. The stars then signed autographs after joining in a lively Q&A session with the children.

The day was rounded off with a mini tournament with prizes for the winning team, best child and best adult presented by Manchester United legend Denis Irwin.
