Metal Mulisha's Brian Deegan Signs With Makita - Web Exclsuive

Brian Deegan, the founder of Metal Mulisha, 12-time X-Games medalist and full-time action sports icon, has signed with Makita Industrial Power Tools.

Mar 17, 2011

Makita, with its ongoing presence in racing and action sports, becomes the Official Power Tool for Brian Deegan as he pursues his passion to win in motorsport, including off-road, freestyle motocross and rally. Makita has been supporting ‘The General’ in off-road racing since 2008, so they know all about Brian’s relentless competitive drive and the energy he brings to action sports.

“For Brian, second place is never an option. And because of his drive to win, he wants the best of the best. So when Brian puts on his helmet – whether it’s dirt or asphalt, two wheels or four – Makita Tools will be with him all the way,” said Brent Withey from Makita.

The 2011 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series launches on Saturday in Phoenix, AZ and Brian Deegan will be donating his Pro 2 Class prize winnings to charity. The Loma Linda Children’s Cancer Ward will be the beneficiary of this weekend’s race.
