The technology in the app includes guides to 40 of the world’s most exciting cities developed in conjunction with ‘A Hedonist’s Guides’. Aston Martin Experience also integrates the latest mobile technology with the iPhone 4’s retina display, high-definition images and video. Built-in motion sensors allowing the user to record forces acting on, and around the car, as well as lateral and forward acceleration during a drive.

Location is at the core of ‘Experience’ allowing users to discover some of the world’s best driving roads and circuits with the ‘Top Roads’ feature; an expandable collection of the world’s most memorable driving routes. Using the phone’s built in GPS hardware, users can check-in to locations and share their experiences online. Further features include a camera function, which allows passengers to film their drive experience, while an on-screen speedometer measures the speed of the journey and augments it into the view. The Speedometer features Launch mode, allowing you to see the speedometer race upwards and hear the sounds of your chosen Aston Martin.

When on the move, the user can measure speed via GPS with a faithful reproduction of the Aston Martin in-car dial showing speeds in mph and km/h. By turning the phone horizontally, a digital version appears.

Regular updates will also ensurenew technology on all functions featured on the free and premium apps. Push notification will allow users to see all the latest Aston Martin news and exclusive content as well as all updates via the company’s Facebook, Twitter and YouTube pages.

The Aston Martin Experience app is available from iTunes for $5.99.
