Prepare to be amazed by the limited-edition bicycle made by Montante Cicli for Maserati. The new “Montante for Maserati 8CTF” was designed to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of Wilbur Shaw’s victory at the Indy 500 behind the wheel of a Maserati 8CTF.
The Sicilian company, famous for its amazing bikes, teamed up with Maserati in order to deliver a product which embodies the excellence and Italian style from both brands.
The Montante for Maserati 8CTF will be produced in a limited edition of just 200 individually-numbered pieces. Montante for Maserati bicycles are made-to-measure to fit the rider perfectly.
The 8CTF model, a single-speed bicycle, comes from one of Montante’s original designs that helped to establish the company as a leader in its field.
Developed and produced by Montante Cicli in Italy, the Maserati 8CTF is embellished with unique and distinctive details: the silver Trident on a grey background on the hubs was inspired by the Maserati’s supercharged three-liter engine; the ’30s-style Maserati logo on the frame reprises the metallic plate identifying the car’s chassis; the enameled oval is a faithful reproduction of the one on the car’s hood. Finally, the “number 1” is the same as the o ne on Shaw’s car with which he won the famous American race twice in a row.
Montante Cicli was founded by Calogero Montante in the 1920s. Innovation and qualityl are the main characteristics of these Italian bicycles. The Montante Cicli racing team was created whn the company began and took part in national and international competitions to help Montante achieve its current status.
