Škoda At 2011 GTI-Treffen In Worthersee - Web Exclusive

For this year’s GTI-Treffen, Skoda presented a roadster concept based on its S2000 rally car.

Although the show is dedicated to the VW GTI, all cars from the VW Group are welcomed, including Škoda, which is once again in the thick of the action with a Fabia vRS 2000 concept car.

Prepared especially for the 30th anniversary meeting, the Fabia vRS 2000 concept car draws on the successful Fabia Super 2000 rally car used in the IRC series. Škoda’s designers created an original roadster based on Škoda Motorsport’s rally car, the Fabia vRS 2000 offers room for four occupants. The steeply sloped windshield provides a dramatic, unique appearance.

Finished in the company’s trademark green and wearing rally-inspired wheels, this fun concept is designed to inspire Škoda owners to have fun with their own cars. However, we’re unlikely to see much of this concept’s innovation hit arrive in dealer showrooms.
