German Interior Minister, Joachim Herrmann, has taken delivery of nine BMW 5 Series Touring from Alexander Thorwirth at BMW Group’s public authorities sales department. This is the first time a new color design has been applied to the 5 Series that will appear on all future police patrol vehicles in Munich and Upper Bavaria North. The police cars are equipped with innovative features such as the iDrive-controlled signal system, strobe lights and optimized cargo areas.

The new color scheme was developed by BMW designers. The mint green bands are outlined with reflective markings, while the lettering was adapted to the vehicle to emphasize the innovative appearance.
