B&W Ear Buds
Bowers & Wilkins • MSRP: $179.95

Known for its high-end audio equipment, B&W has recently introduced C5 in-ear headphones that offer noise-isolating sound quality on the move. The C5 has a securing loop design that keeps the ear-pieces comfortably in place, while a micro-porous filter enables natural sound performance from the drivers for longer listening sessions. The clarity in sound and quality of materials is said to take the C5 to the next level in earbud selection. They come with a choice of ear tips, optional plugs and a protective suede pouch.

Wow, the C5 has huge bass. Deep, clear bass, not expected from such small drivers. The treble is also bright, reproducing voices and guitars with amazing precision. Even the fit is astonishing thanks to the clever loop system formed by the power cable. It means they fit your ear comfortably without having to be pushed in deep. They also stay put for longer and cut-out most background noise. Having used B&W speakers at home for years, I knew about their sound quality but we didn’t expect the C5 to be this good. While undoubtedly expensive, if you spend lots of time on your iPod listening to music and playing games, we highly recommend this purchase. They have quality written all over them – Greg
