Activision Publishing built Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies specifically for Apple mobile devices, adapted from the best-selling console version of Treyarch’s hit video game.

Black Ops Zombies is said to deliver a unique mobile experience that includes 50 levels of cult-favorite Dead-Ops Arcade, providing the ultimate undead challenge for fans of Call of Duty’s Zombies mode.

The game features Voice Chat for a true Call of Duty-style multiplayer experience. The title allows gamers to play solo or join a team of up to four players online to take down hordes of zombies.

The software has been optimized for 3rd-generation devices and higher, allowing high-quality graphics and performance on a mobile device.

As an iOS Universal App, the game operates the same whether played on iPhone4’s Retina Display iPhone or iPad 2.

Fans of the series will get ongoing updates for the game as Activision will provide upgraded features, more maps and other surprises.

The Zombies game app was developed by Ideaworks Game Studio and is available for $6.99 from the App Store.
