Just when you thought the iPhone has accomplished everything, we’ve discovered it has another trick up its sleeve. Thanks to the iPhone accessory experts at Griffin Technology, you can fly your own mini helicopter with its Helo TC. The twin rotor, indoor chopper is built on a lightweight metal frame with a black carbonate body. It comes with a Flight Deck infrared module that plugs into your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and, following the installation of a free app, it transmits control signals to fly the helicopter.

Two flight modes are available: either Touch Control, using the multi-touch display to control throttle and joystick, or Tilt to Steer that uses the phone’s accelerometer. The app can even store flight patterns, so repeating a flight is easy. HELO TC’s built-in battery recharges from any USB power source, while the Flight Deck module is powered by four AAA batteries.
