The 2012 Grand-Am season will kick off at Daytona International Speedway this weekend with the 50th running of the historic Rolex 24 At Daytona on January 26 - 29.
More than 100 entrants will compete across both the Rolex Sports Car and Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Series, all using Continental tires. The 24 Hour race is such a special event, particularly on its 50th anniversary, that Continental wants to take you along for the ride via its social media channels. There are so many great drivers, teams and story lines this year to be captured, so the Continental Tire team will be at Daytona throughout the weekend posting photos, videos and updates to its social media channels.

Continental Tire is the official tire of Grand-Am Road Racing as well as the title sponsor of the Grand-Am Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Series. As the official supplier, Continental will transport 12000 tires on 17 transporters to the 50th anniversary race. The 85-member Continental team will process over 200 tires per hour during peak times, and the team is ready to supply both slicks and rain tires, should weather play a factor.
