The dates and location for the international all-Mini festival known as Mini United has been confirmed for the weekend of May 11-13, 2012.

Organized by Mini itself, vehicle owners in North America are being welcomed to join the fun by Mini USA, promising an unforgettable weekend in France. In addition to the many festival activities, Mini United will serve as the location for an exclusive new Mini model to make its world premiere.

The three-day event takes place at Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet. France. The schedule includes an open-air festival with live music that’s previously seen headline acts like Paul Weller. There will also be owner and fan driving experiences on the track, motorsport activities, stunt shows and vehicle displays ranging from Mini classics to the current lineup.

During the Mini United 2012 weekend there will also be two pro races series taking place at Circuit Paul Ricard, with the Mini Trophy from Germany and the Mini Rush Hour from Italy taking to the track.

By registering here, Mini owners in the US will enjoy a small discount on the registration fee for a weekend pass ($50 rather than €40). Additionally, they will have access to a welcome dinner hosted by Mini USA executives plus the Mini USA hospitality area during the festival, shuttles to the festival each day, test-drive vehicles for the track experience and an option to reserve a room at the discounted rate in the Mini USA room block at the Dolce Fregate hotel.

The hotel is located in St Cyr sur Mer in France, which is 15mins from the festival and close to airports at Marseilles and Nice. The hotel can assist with airport transfers.
