With the launch of the eagerly anticipated Focus ST on the horizon, Ford has created a series of driving events that will travel the country, allowing prospective customers to get some professional instruction and experience a timed autocross in the new hot hatch.

The tour will visit the following locations:
New York, IZOD Center, June 30
Washington, D.C., FedEx Field, July 14
Boston, Gillette Stadium, July 21
San Francisco, Candlestick Park, Aug. 4
Los Angeles, Dodgers Stadium, Aug. 11

The events will happen on Saturdays and will include a fleet of Focus STs for training, timed competition, as well as pre-event racing instruction. Each event will open at 9am and run all day through 6pm.

You can pre-register at http://www.drivefocusst.com
Only a limited number will be able to participate, and entry will be honored on a first-registered, first-served basis.

Ford is hoping that ST fans and drivers of competitor’s vehicles will be able to sample the new car firsthand.

As a further incentive to buy the car, Ford is offering drivers who pre-order a 2013 Focus ST the GoPro HD Hero2 Motorsports Edition camera pack upon delivery. The first 1000 pre-sale orders placed between May 1 and Aug 20 are eligible for the GoPro camera.
