Vauxhall/Opel will be showcasing their new highly customizable A-Class segment vehicle named ADAM. This fashion-lead, urban chic car main purpose is to give a new, not retro, take on an A-class car while maximizing individual personalization. The car will be making its debut at the 2012 Paris Auto Show in September.

Designed by Mark Adams’ team in Europe, ADAM incorporates design trends like a “floating” roof to utilize two-tone color option enhancing the vehicles down-the-road graphics from a distance. Available in several models like JAM (fashionable/colorful), GLAM (elegant/sophisticated), SLAM (racy/sporty) the car lends itself nicely to several markets right out of the gate. Options come stocked with wheels from 16 to 18-inches, with 17 and 18-inch wheel models strapped to ADAM’s lowered sports chassis. ADAM boasts several first-in-class features like daytime running LED headlights, Advanced Park Assist II system and a heated steering wheel.

Power plants for the car will come in ecoFLEX four-cylinder petrol engines from launch: a 1.2-litre 70PS, plus two 1.4-litre engines with either 87PS or 100PS. All will be available with optional Start/Stop technology.

A unique info-tainment system is integrated into the car providing maximum connect-ability to your smartphone and various Internet based applications, all at your fingertips thanks to the state of the art seven-inch touch screen display.
