Starting today, Codemasters F1 Race Stars has begun shipping to stores across North America. What's said to be one of the hottest games of the holiday season.

Available for Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, F1 Race Stars eliminates the simulation F1 feel for something more carefree and fun. Think if Crash Bandicoot and Mario Kart were to get it on and have a baby that turned out to be a F1 champion with a gigantic head. That's what F1 Race Stars is.

Packed with adventurous interpretations of the F1's world circuits and plenty of "weapons" to dominate the competition in each race, F1 Race Stars aims to be one of the more thrilling and carefree racing games of the season. Great timing too, seeing how F1 kicks off its return to the United States this weekend at the brand new Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX.

Check out some of the new F1 Race Stars in game videos, featuring plenty of mayhem and must play excitement like the "Bottle Rocket" and "KERS" features.
