Gran Turismo VW GTI Supersport Download Teased (w/Video)

Soon you'll be able to get your hands on a virtual GTI in Gran Turismo 6 for the PlayStation 3

Last year, Volkswagen brought out a GTI concept for Gran Turismo, and it's back at it again this year. The automaker is teasing the GTI Supersport Vision on its social media sites, giving us a glimpse at the car's front end and a hint of its engine growl.

Volkswagen Unveils GTI Roadster Vision Gran Turismo

The GTI Supersport Vision GT will be available for download on Gran Turismo 6 for Sony Playstation 3. Unfortunately, Volkswagen didn't hint at the timeline for when we might see this car in virtual action. But we do know it will come with a large front splitter and large air intakes.

Only time will tell if VW's Supersport will out-do the GTI Roadster Vision concept introduced last year for Gran Turismo. That car featured no roof and no pillars, but was packed with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder with 503 hp and 491 lb-ft of torque. No doubt, this new GTI has some big shoes to fill.

While we wait, check out Volkswagen's teaser video for the all-new GTI Supersport Vision Gran Turismo. Yet another teaser video gives us strong clues as to the bizarre overall shape of the car, so be sure to click on that one, too.

Most do so with a modified

One of the most common flexes among the biggest automakers is to squirrel away examples of their best and rarest work over their history to eventually show off those pieces as an anthology. Roll racing is having a moment – or at least it was before COVID hit and shut down a year’s worth of events. The motorsport phenomenon that we first noticed through the likes of Texas2K two-plus decades ago and a few other copycat events around the country since had some momentum heading into 2020 before

In order to get the full story of Garage Active, and its animated founding father, you would need more than just a single feature. In all honesty, you would probably need something along the lines of the Lord of the Rings sized trilogy, complete with all of the spin-offs, behind-the-scenes extras and perhaps even that
