If you live in Utah, congratulations, your state has just been named the third in the country that will begin selling the all-new Civic GX natural gas vehicle on a retail basis.
But if simply being a resident of one of the first three states to offer the GX isn't enough, GX owners in Utah may be eligible for a $4,000 federal tax credit and a $3,000 Utah state tax credit.
Utah leads the country in natural gas refueling and has the least expensive natural gas in the United States-with prices averaging 99 cents per gallon. And it all translates to one thing-the cheapest fill ups you can get for your dollar.
So Utahans, get out there and buy one now, because there's 47 other states and 2 territories that aren't as lucky as you guys are...yet.

Bisi does it again! IDRA - Sacramento, CA
On August 9th, 2009, Bisi Ezerioha of team Bisimoto Engineering attended Sacramento's Raceway Park, in Rancho Cordova, California, for the Battle of the Imports (IDRA). The turnout proved to be stellar, with competitors in attendance from around the country. The Pro Stock class was an interesting one as fierce competition from well-funded teams were in attendance and ready for battle. Always up for a challenge, it was a race that Bisi and crew had looked forward to for quite some time. With an array of Bisimoto's latest technology on board, the team was poised for a record-setting day. During event qualifying, the Bisimoto/Torco/AEM/Web Honda Insight ran an amazing elapsed time of 9.65 at 150.30mph!!
This monumental run secured Bisimoto's place in the record books as the very first naturally aspirated FWD to eclipse the 150-mph mark at a sanctioned event. The performance was also backed up with runs within the common 1-2% range, giving Bisimoto Engineering the following OFFICIAL accolades:
- World's first sanctioned 150-mph FWD naturally aspirated pass
- World's fastest uni-body FWD
- World's fastest n/a Honda
- World's fastest n/a SOHC W
- Sacramento Raceway Pro Stock MPH record
- IDRA Pro Stock MPH record
These runs were performed in the ambient temps of over 100 degrees Fahrenheit, and the crowds went wild in support of Team Bisimoto. 150-mph speeds are reserved for Turbo race car territory, and performing such a feat in naturally aspirated trim is unheard of. The same technology that yielded these records are built into every Bisimoto Engineering product.
