Players can purchase, modify and race the hottest real-world vehicles from manufacturers like Ford, GM, Honda, Nissan, Mazda, Scion and more. Realistic tuning and skill-based drag racing allows players to compete in head-to-head and tournament style matchups for a range of virtual rewards.

According to game developer Cie Games of Long Beach, CA, a total of 3,140,460 Royal Purple synthetic lubricant packages were purchased as virtual items in 2009. Players experienced the same improved performance in the game’s virtual world as can be expected when they use Royal Purple in the real world.

“The reason we renewed our sponsorship is simple,” said Royal Purple Marketing VP Mark McFann. “A ton of people took advantage of the opportunity to virtually sample and experience the results of the (Royal Purple) product.”
