Boost Blue Honda Civic Type R Watch Release

Meister Watches drops yet another FK8-inspired timepiece.

Honda released pricing on its 2021 Civic Type R Limited Edition last week, listing its cream of the crop, Limited Edition FK8 for $43,995, with just 600 models to be produced. It'll have a lighter curb weight than your standard FK8 along with forged BBS wheels and will be painted exclusively in Honda's iconic Phoenix Yellow. To celebrate the launch of that car, Meister Watches teamed up with Honda Accessories to release a yellow watch commemorating the model. The watches sold out in just minutes, but it's not too late to own one of these sweet timepieces, that is, if you're down for one that's blue.

Recently, Meister unveiled its Ambassador MK3 watch in Boost Blue, which, if you're privy to the refreshed 2020 Civic Type R, is a new and exclusive CTR color that replaces Aegean Blue. The sexy new watch comes at a time when refreshed FK8s are now available at U.S. Honda dealerships.

As for the watch itself, it's powered by a Japanese-made, six-hand chronograph. The Honda logo replaces the 12-hour mark and sits above the Type R badge. The watch is water resistant up to 100 meters and uses a 316L full stainless-steel case and scratch-resistant mineral crystal for durability. The Boost Blue face and matching leather band are truly unique, something we'd wear even though we don't drive a CTR—it looks that sharp!

The Boost Blue Meister Honda Type R watch is limited to 150 pieces so don't delay. Each watch is individually numbered on the back case and is priced at $250.
