New roadster boasts revised front end.

To build excitement for the upcoming 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show next week, Mercedes-Benz has released a teaser image of the refreshed SL roadster. The updated model will make its global debut at the show, sporting a refreshed front fascia.

The grille keeps the chrome bar with the three-pointed star in the center, but receives the diamond grille pattern seen on other current Mercedes models. The lower grille has also been given a new design, with the top becoming more rounded. Meanwhile, the vents in front of the wheels no longer feature daytime running lights.

The headlights have been given a slight update. The new lamps keep the housings' flowing design, which is now emphasized by a stripe of DRLs above the new two-light layout. The design of the hood looks to be the same as on the current model, with sharp lines running from the edge of the grille to the inside of the mirrors.

The refreshed Mercedes-Benz SL will make its global debut on November 18 in L.A.
