BRP66 Extends Company’s Range Of Racing Friction Materials

Sep 14, 2009

MOORESVILLE, N.C., September 14, 2009 – Already extensive with six racing pad compounds to satisfy the NASCAR Cup driver as well as the SCCA Club racer, Brembo Racing is pleased to announce an addition to its broad Pad Program: BRP66.

Tailored for both the professional as well as amateur racer, Brembo’s newest pad compound is formulated for a wide range of lighter-weight Club applications, such as Spec Miata, STi, 350z, EVO and PBR applications. It is also very effective on dirt super late models when it’s important not to slide the tires and on asphalt super late models on light-duty braking tracks.

Along with BRP3, BRP66 is the most versatile compound Brembo offers.

Brembo Racing’s BRP66 provides high friction under moderately lower temperature conditions (cold start to a maximum of 1,022 oF) offering very good modulation and reduced wear. It has a slow-rising torque curve that provides manageability with modulation, as well as increased friction with increased pedal effort.

In addition to calipers, discs, master cylinders and brake fluids, Brembo offers pads designed specifically for competition — a result of the integrated experience acquired by Brembo Racing. The past thirty years have seen Brembo developing top level products, always seeking the best obtainable result — thanks to the company’s extensive capability and know-how — and forging a reputation as a dependable partner to the most prestigious race teams in the world.

In motorsports, Brembo Racing Pads are already the choice of teams competing in NASCAR (Sprint Cup, Nationwide, Camping World Trucks, Pro-Cup, ARCA, Camping World East/West), Super Late Model (Asphalt), PASS, ASA,Super Late Model (Dirt), Northeast NASCAR Modified, Northeast DIRT Modified, USAC Silver Crown, IRL, Infiniti Pro Series, Star Mazda, ALMS, Grand Am Rolex Daytona Prototype and GT Sports Car Series, Koni Challenge GS and ST, Speed World Challenge GT and Touring Car, Trans Am, SCCA Pro, Spec Miata, T1, A Sedan, Club Sport, Improved Touring, GT1-GT2-GT3,NASA, American Iron, American Iron Extreme and HPDE.
