Drive It Like You Stole It... at the Jim Russell Lancer Evolution Experience

News, gossip and rumors--we sort it out for you here.

Feb 8, 2010

There's no denying that beneath the sheetmetal of a Lancer Evolution beats the heart of rally racer. But how often can you really open the cage and let the beast loose? Thanks to the Jim Russell Lancer Evolution Experience you can, and you don't even need to own an EVO.

The Lancer Evolution program was created to exploit the car's abilities over the 2.52-mile, 12-turn Infineon Raceway. Highlights of the course include quality time with world-class instructors, driving at the limit of the car (tires burned through courtesy of Continental) and learning car-control skills that can save the day in the real world. The cost is $995, and factoring the tires you'll shred makes it even more of a deal. Check it out at jimrussellusa.com.
