Honda Cr-Z Type-R Coming?

The CR-Z may get a little mean to go with its green. The rumor has Honda and the tuning powerhouse Mugen dropping some mojo on the CR-Z's 102hp, 1.5-liter four. The crystal ball calls for output in the 150hp range. On the electric side, a stronger hybrid motor will kick in another 50 hp, making the bottom line a healthy 200 hp.

It goes without saying that the Mugen touch will be visible in the body tuning department as well as cockpit tricks and other tasty additions.

Our crystal ball was on full high-beam mode as the unveiling of the currently imaginary CR-Z Type-R is a long way off - 2011 Tokyo Motor Show in concept form and on the street in 2012.
