Deep from the guts of the rumor mill, we hear of a possible S2K replacement. There's no doubt the S2000 roadster was a great car, but for a long time its $34,000-plus price tag made it the H's priciest. The rumored replacement looks to be more economical, which is a great thing in these trying times. It's being described as a Frankenstein-like creation that mates a S2000 and a Beat. The Beat is a JDM convertible that Honda debuted in 1991. It was a micro car with a 656cc inline-3 banger and minimal creature comforts. The rumored ride could be powered by a Fit powertrain, some hybrid setup, plug-in electric or by the Oompa-Loompas.
