Jun 23, 2011

With the official start of summer right around the corner, riding season is just about in full swing. PUMA and Ducati have long collaborated to produce gear for those that embrace the riding lifestyle, including performance riding boots. Talking about the emotions that drive those to ride, however, can't always do the experience that drove the creation of the performance riding boot. To help deliver that experience, PUMA recently debuted their new video series that celebrates the joy of riding and their long term relationship with Ducati.

The first video launched four weeks ago and now the fifth video in this seven-part series has just gone live, as it explores how motorcycles fit into the life of Tony Angelo, Professional Driver and Judge for Formula Drift. Raised in Pennsylvania, Tony eventually made his way to the West Coast to pursue his passion for motorsports. He became an instant pioneer for the motorsport of drifting and competed for several seasons before stepping down as a driver to become one of three recognized judges for Formula Drift. As a judge, Tony has had the opportunity to travel all over the world to watch drifting, including North America, Asia and Europe.

As an 8-year vet, Tony currently rides a 2006 Sport Classic 1000 w/848 front end swap, 1098 wheels, Zard pipes and a few other modifications. Within his video, Tony is wearing a mix of PUMA Ducati lifestyle gear that is available in PUMA stores and on as well as true performance riding boots.

In addition to Tony, over the final two weeks the video series will follow a fashion designer and a musician. For these riders, just like PUMA, bikes are about more than just the ride: they're about the riding community, the culture, and are a way of life in and of itself. With the debut of each new video, PUMA will also be giving away gear and the bike that inspired it all through a national consumer contest. For more information on the contest, please visit , and if you have additional questions, please let me know.
