Why You Chose This Platform I was able to pick up my first-gen DSM for $900 — it never ran right and then I blew the motor! I was so sick of having crappy cars that I decided I was going to build a second-gen, and I was going to do it right this time. Over the past eight months, I’ve done all of the cleaning up on the car myself.
Numbers 408 whp and 453 wtq.
Props/Thanks To My friend, Narvin.

Rocky Zheng’s ’87 Mazda RX-7

Go-Fast Bits SS brake and clutch lines; Racingbeat 2.5-inch NA downpipe, pre-silencer, after-cat exhaust, DTSS eliminator, ULTRA spark plug wires & sway bars (f/r); K&N drop-in filter; removed EGR & air pump; Koyo Dual-Pass radiator; Pineapple Racing “Yoohoo” belt; Mazdatrix short shifter; S4 Clutch-Type LSD; RTEK ECU with Palm Tuner; Stance GR Plus coilovers; Ground Control rear chamber adjuster; Polyurethane bushings; Turbo II 4-pot brakes (f); Corksport strut braces (f/r)
Worst Mods I’ve made some pretty bad choices with modifying the car, such as adding a super loud exhaust (which is now gone) and taking out a lot of the emissions control pieces.
Why You Chose This Platform I purchased this car during high school using money I earned at a summer internship and wanted to use it for autocross, but got side-tracked into racing in local mountain roads.
Props/Thanks To I really want to thank all my friends who helped and taught me so much.

Called the GR Super Sport Concept, it looks like it could be Toyota's next LMP car, but this might actually be an LMP-inspired street car.

One month isn't a lot of time to build a captivating show car, especially for a show like Wekfest Japan. But Masaru Ishikawa set out to do it
