Foust En Fuego - Spinout

Foust sailed 332 feet during the IZOD Presents Hot Wheels Fearless at the 500 pre-race exhibition prior to the Indy 500.

Rockstar Energy Drink driver Tanner Foust became the first American ever to win a FIA European Rallycross Championship race when he powerslid to victory in Portugal in May. Foust was the driver to beat at the Pista Automóvel de Montalegre, setting a pair of fastest practice session times in his Rockstar Energy Drink Ford Fiesta on Saturday before scoring two out of three heat wins heading into Sunday’s final round.

Foust is also contesting the Global RallyCross Championship in 2011, persevering through pain after dislocating his shoulder to take the win at a recent round, Twin Peaks, held outside Seattle in April.

The busy driver, who’s also a two-time Formula DRIFT champion and co-host of the Top Gear America TV show, got some extra “air” time Memorial Day weekend when he set a new record for ramp-to-ramp car jumps. Foust sailed 332 feet during the IZOD Presents Hot Wheels Fearless at the 500 pre-race exhibition prior to the Indy 500. He drove a specially prepared off-road truck off a life-sized Hot Wheels V-Drop track, breaking the previous record by 31 feet.
