Regardless of which path you choose, it’s wise to consider your engine’s guts before jumping in headfirst. Subaru EJ25 camshafts
These new billet cores fit the EJ257B head and feature dual AVCS on the intake and exhaust sides. CNC ground from state-of-the-art Schaudt grinders, the BC camshafts are available in a 272 spec as well as a 280 race spec.
Heavy-duty I-beam connecting rods
Brian Crower delivers heavy-duty I-beam connecting rods for a variety of turbo applications. The rods are CNC machined from aerospace-grade 4340 steel billet material and feature ARP fasteners in your choice of ARP2000 or the premium upgrade ARP625+ bolts. BC I-beam connecting rods are available for the Mitsubishi 4G63/EVO and EVO X, Nissan SR20 and VR38, as well as the Subaru EJ-series engine platforms. Rated in excess of 250 hp per cylinder, these are the only rods you’ll ever need.
These dual valvesprings are designed and engineered for high performance race/street conditions. BlackWorks dual valvesprings provide maximum lift while preventing valve float and help counter the effects of spring surge. These are a great match for naturally aspirated and forced induction engines. For maximum results, use with BlackWorks Ti retainers and high/low compression valves.
BlackWorks CNC-machined retainers are made from the highest grade titanium available. BlackWorks Ti retainers are machined to exact specs to help reduce the valvetrain’s overall weight and provide some of the greatest assurance from premature wear associated with high rpm. In-chassis valvespring tool
This tool allows a single technician to replace valvesprings in a safe manner, without removing the cylinder heads from the vehicle. By incorporating a modified follower bucket to compress each spring, the retainer locks can be set on top of the follower and moved safely into place, leaving both hands free to precisely complete the job. It can also be used with heads off the engine.
Honda K-series camshafts
Designed specifically for the street enthusiast, the Kelford 179-A series cams provide a significant improvement in horsepower and torque when compared to stock TSX cams and are designed to use the OEM valvetrain without any upgrades. The primary and intermediate lobes are fractionally larger than the TSX and the main lobe features more area for increased mid-range and top-end performance. Gains of 30+ whp have been achieved with quality bolt-on parts.

Probe has utilized the latest in forging technology and design, making them even stronger and offering an even higher-quality forged piston than was previously available. They’re completely forged out of 2618-T61 aluminum and feature full-floating pins and are 100 percent produced and manufactured in the USA. These are great for the street racer and the all-out racer.
EVO X Forged pistons
To meet the challenge of dealing with incredible cylinder pressure in tiny 4B11 engines, Ross designed the strongest forging available for this bore size. These pistons come with 52100 high-tensile bearing steel wrist pins (pin fitted at no charge) and a gas nitride steel ring package. The compression ratio is a boost-perfect 9.0:1, and they’re available in standard and plus 0.5mm (.020-inch) oversize. Various coatings and gas porting are optional.
Supertech stainless steel intake valves stand out for their precision and consistency. Heat treatment provides less friction for better heat dissipation than chromed valves. Dual valvespring kits are made with premium chrome silicon vanadium steel alloy for high performance and durability.
Skunk2 offers a wide variety of high-performance valvetrain upgrades. Retainers, valves, springs, camshafts and cam gears are available for Honda B-, H-, F- and K-series engines, as well as newly introduced Subaru and Mitsubishi applications.
Asymmetrical forged pistons

Pro-Cast pistons are cast by the same industrial automotive manufacturer that produces OEM Honda pistons; that same OE quality is in Pro-Cast’s special 81.5mm and 82mm sizes with a molybednum skirt coating. With power and reliability at its finest, you can now have the increased displacement without the thermal expansion headaches of a forged piston.
Modern Automotive Performance
These studs utilize an H11 material that’s much stronger than the typical 8740 chromoly and yields a tensile strength of 260,000 psi. They’re also provisioned with a hex broach on the top of the stud, enabling you to install them with the cylinder head on the car if necessary. The MAP Ultimate Duty head studs include an additional feature over other similar studs form A1 and ARP known as a “dog point” that seats the stud in the block and pre-loads the fastener for an accurate and repeatable torque sequence.

4B11 2.2-liter stroker kit
HKS’ 4B11 2.2-liter stroker kit is designed to increase engine displacement and incorporate technology that was developed in conjunction with the CZ200S time attack car. The EVO X 2.2-liter kit includes a forged full counter crankshaft, I-beam connecting rods and forged pistons.

Wiseco Performance Products is now offering its Max 23-degree series of racing pistons. This is the first series to use 2.25-inch pin forging and technology. Narrow spacing between the bosses increases the bearing area and reduces unsupported crown area, reducing ring groove distortion. Kits are available in multiple compression heights and compression ratios to fit your motor.
