Suzuki’s new-generation Swift Sport has everything we want but a ticket to the U.S. market. The Swift has been here before — from 1988 to 1994 as a Swift and until 1999 under the guise of the Geo Metro, but the car has evolved and the Sport model is especially deserving of a return to the North American market. The all-new Swift Sport flexes a Sport-specific 134hp M16A 1.6-liter 4-banger and a 6-speed manual gearbox, but it’s the looks that make the car a standout. The 2-door hatch is a mean Mini challenger and/or Fiat 500 fighter, and we hope Suzuki sees the light and ships the Swift Sport over here.
