Nissan recently revealed that it was bringing back the Datsun badge. So will we see a born-again Datsun 510 in the local showroom? Nope. The brand will be for super-economy-minded vehicles sold in emerging markets. The ploy allows Nissan to offer $6,000 products in countries like India, Indonesia, Russia, and so on, without cheapening the Nissan brand. Still, a retro Dime would be awesome.
